These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Worthies Limited’s website, awards entry system, and participation in The Worthies Conference & Awards (“Event”). By accessing our website or registering for our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use this website or register for any of our services.

1. About Us

The Worthies Limited is a company registered in New Zealand, organising and delivering conferences and awards dedicated to excellence in Public Sector Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations and Engagement.

2. Use of This Website

You may only use this website for lawful purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Disrupt or interfere with the security of the site

  • Upload or distribute viruses, malware, or other harmful code

4. Conference & Awards Registration

  • Submit only original work, or work that you are authorised to enter

  • Follow your organisation’s procurement policy when requesting an invoice

 

We reserve the right to decline or cancel registrations or entries that breach these Terms or our Rules of Entry.

 

5. Fees and Payments

  • All ticket sales and award entries are subject to published pricing and applicable GST (New Zealand Goods and Services Tax).

  • Payment can be made by credit card or invoice (subject to PO number)

  • Tickets and entry fees are non-refundable, but registrations may be transferred to a colleague if you notify us in writing

  • No award entries will be accepted without full payment prior to the judging process

  • The Worthies Limited is not responsible for late or lost payments or errors in third-party payment gateways

 

6. Event Cancellation or Changes

The Worthies Limited reserves the right to:

 

  • Cancel or postpone the conference or awards ceremony due to circumstances beyond our control

  • Make changes to the event format, speakers, or schedule

  • Substitute sessions, speakers, or venue if necessary

 

In such cases, we will notify registered participants via the email provided and endeavour to minimise disruption.

 

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

This website is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we take care to ensure accuracy and security, The Worthies Limited makes no guarantees about:

 

  • The uninterrupted or error-free operation of the site

  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information

  • The suitability of content for your purposes

 

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability.
